The Mission: Beyond the Rolodex

Most advocacy in Concord relies on a traditional model of "who you know." At Isinglass, we believe that while relationships are the baseline, strategic discipline is the differentiator. We founded this firm to bring the tactical rigor of high-stakes campaigns to the legislative process. Our mission is to provide organizations with the tools to prioritize their objectives and track their results so they can lead the policy conversation, rather than simply reacting to it.

Direct Access. Total Accountability.

When you partner with Isinglass, you get a dedicated principal, not a junior account manager. In a boutique environment, every strategy is developed and every meeting is attended by the person whose name is on the door. This model ensures total alignment between your goals and our execution. While we maintain a nimble profile, we leverage a hand-picked network of strategic partners for specialized research and large-scale production, giving us the ability to scale our operations to meet the most ambitious objectives in the Granite State.

Nick Paul | Founder & Principal

With over 12 years of experience at the intersection of high-stakes advocacy and strategic campaign management, Nick Paul founded Isinglass Government Affairs to provide a rigorous and data-informed approach to representation in Concord. Nick is recognized for his ability to translate complex policy landscapes into actionable strategies that secure measurable results for businesses and nonprofits alike.

Nick’s strategic edge is defined by a deep background in elite political operations. He has led multimillion-dollar campaigns across the country, with experience ranging from municipal races to directing large-scale field strategies for a presidential campaign during the First-in-the-Nation Primary. This campaign-grade discipline—which prioritizes message control, rapid response, and tactical mobilization—is the core methodology behind the Isinglass approach to advocacy.

As a seasoned advocate in New Hampshire, Nick has a proven track record of navigating the General Court and working in close proximity to various state agencies. He specializes in building bipartisan coalitions and delivering the technical testimony required to shape outcomes in the energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors. His work is characterized by a commitment to structural clarity, ensuring that his clients are not just following the policy conversation but leading it.

While Nick’s professional career has taken him to states all over the country, his roots in the Granite State run deep, having ancestors who answered the Lexington Alarm from Reed's Ferry in Merrimack. Born and raised in Concord, he currently lives in Rochester with his wife and three children. Nick also serves as Vice President of Natural Burial NH, a nonprofit he co-founded to expand values-aligned burial options across the state. Whether he is building a statewide coalition or managing a complex regulatory hurdle, Nick provides the institutional intelligence and tactical precision required to win in today’s political environment.
